My bronze resin Playful Dog sculpture aims to capture all the boundless enthusiasm of a dog poised ready to play. Focused on it best friend it is ready to race after a stick, chase a ball or tear around in circles in complete abandon.
Dogs
When I make dogs and cats, and I have both, I make them in the poses we are all familiar with, and which are common to all breeds. I’m sure that any pet owner will recognise something of their cats or dog in the sculptures I make. Not only this, the poses I choose often remind us of something in our own nature, maybe the bliss of a scratch, the peace of an afternoon nap or the joy of play. It is often for these reasons that people buy my work because it reminds them of their own pet or makes them smile about shared experience. I do not make specific breeds except by commission, which I am always happy to consider. Bronze resin dogs and bronze resin cats are also popular as presents and gifts for pet lovers.
Resin Bronze Sculptures
When I make a sculpture I particularly like, I have it moulded and cast in Bronze Resin. A process that creates an attractive and durable alternative to real bronze. The bronze resin animal sculptures have proved to be very popular as they are affordable and easy to send and I am continually adding to the range. My work is also available in galleries, mainly in the Westcountry.
